Sales Manager

Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to manage and grow business with power distribution companies. The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background in electrical engineering and extensive experience working with Discoms, utility companies, and government procurement processes.

This role requires deep relationship management, tender handling expertise, and the ability to drive revenue through strategic engagement with multiple stakeholders.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage and grow business with Discoms.
• Build strong relationships with procurement, engineering, and project teams within Discoms.
• Identify new business opportunities, upcoming tenders, rate contracts, and long‑term supply agreements.
• Lead technical discussions, product presentations, and solution‑based selling for electrical equipment.
• Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, technical documentation, compliance, and timely submission of bids.
• Track tender portals, vendor registration processes, and ensure full compliance with Discom requirements.
• Drive order closure, negotiation, and post‑order execution follow‑ups.
• Maintain MIS for sales pipeline, forecasts, and key account performance.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and resolution of commercial issues.
• Represent the company in review meetings, audits, and vendor evaluations.
