Job Description
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor vendor performance, addressing delivery timelines, quality concerns, and service issues.
- Ensure vendors comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials, goods, and services.
- Assess and forecast inventory needs to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Implement cost reduction and efficiency improvement practices in procurement.
- Analyze market trends and commodity prices to support informed purchasing decisions.
- Monitor and control procurement and logistics costs within budgetary constraints.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement and logistics performance.
