Pre-Primary Teacher

To provide a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment for young children and support their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through age-appropriate teaching and activities.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and conduct engaging lessons and activities appropriate for pre-primary children.
• Teach basic concepts such as numbers, alphabets, colours, shapes, vocabulary, and general awareness.
• Use play-based, activity-based, and experiential learning methods.
• Develop children's communication, motor, social, and creative skills.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess children's learning and developmental progress.
• Maintain regular records of attendance, assessments, and student activities.
• Communicate with parents regarding children's progress, behaviour, and developmental needs.
• Encourage good habits, hygiene, discipline, sharing, and cooperation.
• Organize classroom activities, celebrations, games, storytelling, art, music, and other events.
• Ensure classroom materials and learning resources are properly maintained.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff.
• Follow school policies, curriculum guidelines, and child-safety procedures.
