Job Description

Job Title: Sales Coordinator

Job Location- Kolkata

Qualification- B.Sc Graduation

Experience- 2-3 years

● Roles & Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Cold Calling

2. Identify potential customers through market research and databases.

3. Conduct outbound cold calls to generate leads and convert them into prospects.

4. Follow up on inquiries received through online platforms, emails, and website queries.

5. Sales Conversion & Business Development

6. Engage potential clients through persuasive communication and pitch the company's products/services.

7. Understand client requirements and suggest appropriate solutions.

8. Set up virtual or physical meetings for senior sales representatives if required.

9. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

10. Customer Relationship Management

11. Maintain relationships with new and existing clients for repeat business opportunities.

12. Address customer queries and concerns professionally.

13. Follow up with leads and ensure conversion through regular engagement.

14. Data Management & Reporting

15. Maintain accurate records of all calls, leads, conversations, and sales outcomes in CRM software.

16. Provide weekly/monthly reports on call performance, lead conversions, and sales progress.

17. Collaboration & Coordination

18. Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams for lead qualification and promotional activities.

19. Assist in implementing marketing campaigns to enhance sales effectiveness.

20. Market Awareness & Competitor Analysis

21. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities. 22. Suggest improvements in sales strategies based on market feedback. Skills and


Qualification required:


1. Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.

2. Additional certification in Sales or Telesales will be an advantage.

3. Experience:1-3 years of experience in telesales, business development, or inside sales (preferably in B2B sales).

4. Experience in the chemical industry or industrial sales is a plus.

5. Technical Skills:Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

6. Experience in using CRM software (Zoho CRM, Salesforce, or similar).


Soft Skills:

1. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and regional languages.

2. Excellent persuasive and negotiation skills.

3. Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to handle objections effectively.

4. Good organizational and time management skills.

5. Candidates with prior experience in B2B sales will be given preference.
