Junior Lawyer

Job Description:

We are looking for a Junior Lawyer / Junior Advocate who is sincere, responsible, and willing to handle drafting as well as court-related work.

The candidate should be good at legal drafting, client handling, letter drafting, preparation of applications, petitions, notices, affidavits, and other filing-related documents. The candidate must also be willing to travel to different courts, tribunals, and offices as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drafting legal notices, letters, replies, applications, petitions, affidavits, and other legal documents.
2. Preparing documents for filing before courts, tribunals, and authorities.
3. Assisting in client handling and taking client instructions.
4. Coordinating with clerks, court staff, and clients.
5. Attending courts, tribunals, government offices, and other legal forums whenever required.
6. Maintaining case files, dates, documents, and follow-ups.
7. Assisting senior lawyers in litigation and legal work.

Required Skills:

• Good drafting skills in English.
• Basic knowledge of civil, commercial, consumer, DRT/NCLT, arbitration, and general litigation work will be preferred.
• Ability to handle clients professionally.
• Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Must be comfortable with court visits and filing-related work.
• Basic computer knowledge, MS Word, email drafting, and document formatting.

Qualification:

LL.B. completed. Enrolment with Bar Council preferred.

Experience:

Freshers with good drafting skills may apply. Candidates with 1–3 years’ experience will be preferred.

Salary:

As per experience and capability.
