Electrician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of electrical wiring, panels, power distribution systems, and safety standards. The role requires working independently as well as with project teams to ensure all electrical installations and maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
• Diagnose electrical faults and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
• Install and maintain lighting systems, power outlets, distribution boards, MCC panels, and control panels.
• Conduct electrical testing, inspections, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor electrical equipment performance and recommend improvements.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians during project execution.
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Required Qualifications

• ITI Electrician, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and electrical safety standards.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, or residential electrical work.
• Familiarity with electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in industrial plants, cold storage facilities, refrigeration systems, warehouses, manufacturing units, or commercial buildings.
• Knowledge of DG sets, transformers, motors, VFDs, and electrical panels.
• Experience in electrical project installation and commissioning.
