Data Entry Executive

About the RoleWe are looking for a Data Entry & Book Operations Executive to support our day-to-day book listing and warehouse operations. The role involves accurately entering book details, scanning books, maintaining inventory records, and organizing books on racks.

• Key ResponsibilitiesEnter and update book details such as title, author, ISBN, publisher, edition, price and other relevant information in the system.
• Scan books using barcode/ISBN scanners and ensure the correct book is mapped to the correct listing.
• Create and update new and used book listings on the MyPustak platform.
• Check book condition and select the appropriate condition/category as per company guidelines.
• Sort and organize books according to the assigned rack, shelf and inventory location.
• Place books properly in designated racks and maintain systematic storage.
• Pick books from racks based on inventory/order requirements and update their location in the system.
• Perform basic quality checks to identify missing pages, damaged covers, excessive markings or other issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Handle books carefully during scanning, listing, sorting, movement and storage.
• Support other warehouse and book-processing activities as required.
• Required SkillsBasic computer knowledge and good typing speed.
