Automotive Sales Consultant

Job Title: Sales Consultant – Honda BigWing

Location: Honda Bigwing, Chinar Park, Kolkata

Reports to: Sales Manager

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated, customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our Honda BigWing showroom. You’ll guide customers through Honda’s premium motorcycle range, from enquiry to delivery, while delivering the high standard of service expected of the BigWing brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in customers and handle phone, online and social media enquiries promptly.
• Understand each customer’s riding needs and recommend suitable BigWing models, variants and accessories.
• Conduct product presentations and arrange test rides in line with safety procedures.
• Prepare quotations, explain finance, insurance and exchange options, and close sales.
• Complete booking, invoicing and delivery documentation accurately.
• Ensure a smooth, premium delivery experience, including a vehicle walk-through.
• Follow up on leads and maintain customer records in the dealer management system (DMS/CRM).
• Achieve monthly sales, accessory, value added services and finance targets.
• Stay up to date on Honda BigWing products, competitor models and promotions.
• Support showroom events, ride-outs and community activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in any field; 1–2 years of sales experience (automotive or premium retail preferred).
• Strong interest in motorcycles; knowledge of big bikes is a plus.
• Valid motorcycle riding licence (required for test rides).
• Good communication, negotiation and customer-handling skills.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM systems).
• Presentable, target-driven and able to work weekends and public holidays.
