Job Title: AV Design & Estimation CoordinatorLocationKolkata

About the RoleSollfege Smart Electronics Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled AV Design & Estimation Coordinator who will be primarily responsible for preparing project quotations, BOQs, AutoCAD drawings, and technical documentation for premium Audio, Video, Home Automation, and Smart Home projects.

The candidate will play a critical role in converting project requirements into accurate quotations, technical layouts, and execution-ready documentation while coordinating with sales, technical teams, OEMs, architects, and interior designers.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities (Core Role)Quotation & EstimationPrepare detailed quotations using quotation software.
• Create and revise Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Prepare project cost estimates based on customer requirements.
• Update quotations based on design revisions and client feedback.
• Maintain and update product pricing within the quotation software.
• Coordinate with the purchase team for product pricing, availability, and procurement information.
• AutoCAD Design & Technical DrawingsCreate AutoCAD layouts for Audio Video, Home Automation, Networking, and Security systems.
• Modify and update drawings based on project changes.
• Prepare mark-ups and execution drawings for technical teams.
• Coordinate with architects and interior designers regarding layouts and technical requirements.
• Ensure drawings are updated throughout the project lifecycle.
• Technical CoordinationDesign AV and automation solutions based on project requirements.
• Share equipment specifications, dimensions, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with OEMs for technical clarifications and solution design.
• Conduct client demonstrations when required.
• Support the sales team with technical presentations and project planning.
• Project CoordinationCoordinate with technical teams during project execution.
• Provide site support and technical guidance when required.
• Ensure alignment between sales, design, procurement, and execution teams.
• Track project progress from inquiry stage through completion.
• Service & Support CoordinationCoordinate service requests and post-installation support.
• Handle faulty material replacement and service coordination across all company locations.
• Follow up with manufacturers regarding warranty and service cases.
• Documentation & AdministrationMaintain project records and documentation.
• Manage project-related correspondence with architects, interior designers, consultants, and clients.
• Maintain technical databases, drawings, and project files.
• Handle operational documentation including challans, receipts, petty cash, equipment maintenance, and related office coordination activities.
• Desired QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, estimation, project coordination, or the AV/Home Automation industry.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience in preparing quotations and BOQs using quotation software.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
