Job Description

About the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic, target-driven, and student-focused Admission Counsellor to drive admissions for Graduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs across Domestic and International markets. The ideal candidate will counsel prospective students, understand their career aspirations, recommend suitable programs, and convert inquiries into successful enrollments.


This role requires excellent communication, consultative selling, relationship management, and the ability to meet aggressive admission targets.


  • Key ResponsibilitiesStudent CounsellingCounsel prospective students through phone calls, emails, WhatsApp, video meetings, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Understand students' educational background and career goals.
  • Recommend suitable UG and PG programs.
  • Explain admission procedures, eligibility, fee structure, scholarships, and career opportunities.
  • Guide students throughout the admission lifecycle.
  • Lead ManagementHandle inbound and outbound admission inquiries.
  • Convert leads into applications and enrollments.
  • Follow up with prospective students until admission completion.
  • Maintain high conversion ratios.
  • Maintain accurate student records in CRM.
  • Domestic AdmissionsDrive admissions across India.
  • Coordinate with schools, colleges, coaching centers, and educational consultants.
  • Organize admission drives, seminars, and education fairs.
  • Build institutional partnerships.
  • International AdmissionsCounsel international students regarding available programs.
  • Explain visa documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate with overseas recruitment partners.
  • Assist students with application documentation.
  • Support students through offer letter and enrollment processes.
  • Relationship ManagementBuild long-term relationships with students and parents.
  • Coordinate with academic departments.
  • Resolve admission-related queries promptly.
  • Deliver an exceptional student experience.
  • Marketing & OutreachParticipate in education expos.
  • Conduct webinars and career counselling sessions.
  • Generate referrals.
  • Work closely with the digital marketing team for lead conversion.
  • Promote institutional programs through social media engagement.
  • DocumentationVerify admission documents.
  • Ensure compliance with admission policies.
  • Maintain confidential student records.
  • Coordinate with finance for fee payment confirmation.
