Job Description

Key Responsibilities

·       Industrial Relations (IR): Maintain labor harmony, especially in unionized settings. Handle union negotiations, collective bargaining, and grievance resolutions.

·       Statutory Compliance: Ensure daily adherence to local and national labor laws (such as the Factories Act), manage audits, and oversee Provident Fund (PF) and ESI obligations.

·       Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee end-to-end hiring of blue-collar and white-collar plant personnel, including background checks and induction.

·       Payroll & Shift Management: Manage attendance systems, leave records, overtime calculations, and monthly payroll inputs.

·       Employee Relations & Welfare: Manage canteen services, employee safety, and welfare activities. Foster a positive work culture and resolve workplace disputes.

·       Training & Development: Identify workforce skill gaps, enforce safety compliance training, and design employee development programs.
