Job Description
We are looking for a skilled SolidWorks Designer who can create accurate 2D/3D models, technical drawings, and support engineering teams in product development and execution.
- š ļø Key Responsibilities: Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Develop detailed 2D manufacturing drawings
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and documentation
- Work closely with production & project teams for design execution
- Modify and improve existing designs based on requirements
- Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and technical standards
- Coordinate with vendors for design feasibility (if required)
- Maintain proper version control and design records
- š§ Required SkillsStrong expertise in SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Drawing)
- Good knowledge of mechanical design & fabrication processes
- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Knowledge of sheet metal, structures, and fabrication drawings
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD (preferred)
- Problem-solving and attention to detail
