Truck Driver

Job Description:

•  Driving trucks to transport goods between warehouses, factories, customers, and distribution centers.
•  Loading and unloading cargo, or supervising the loading process.
•  Inspecting the truck before and after each trip (brakes, tires, lights, fuel, etc.).
•  Ensuring cargo is properly secured to prevent damage during transport.
•  Following assigned delivery schedules and planned routes.
•  Maintaining accurate delivery records, logbooks, and transport documents.
•  Obtaining signatures or proof of delivery from customers.
•  Reporting accidents, delays, vehicle breakdowns, or cargo damage to the supervisor.
•  Performing basic vehicle maintenance checks and reporting repair needs.
•  Following traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
•  Keeping the truck clean and in good working condition.
•  Coordinating with warehouse staff, dispatchers, and customers regarding deliveries.
