Purchase Executive

• Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage day-to-day procurement activities, vendor coordination, purchase orders, material follow-ups, and documentation. The candidate should have good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, with experience in manufacturing or factory procurement.

• Key Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day purchase and procurement activities.

Raise and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.

Source and evaluate vendors based on price, quality, delivery, and reliability.

Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.

Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of materials.

Follow up on pending orders and maintain proper delivery records.

Coordinate with Stores, Production, Maintenance, Finance, and other departments for material requirements.

Verify purchase requisitions and ensure procurement as per approved specifications.

Maintain vendor master data, quotation records, POs, invoices, and other procurement documents.

Support vendor onboarding and performance evaluation.

Monitor purchase costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

Ensure materials are purchased within approved budgets and company policies.

Coordinate with Finance and vendors regarding invoice and payment-related queries.

Prepare regular purchase reports and MIS.

Ensure compliance with internal procurement processes and approval procedures.
