News Anchor

Jaipur Times is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Reporter / News Anchor to join our media team in Jaipur.

The candidate will be responsible for covering local and regional news, conducting interviews, reporting from the field, presenting news on camera, and preparing accurate and engaging news content for Jaipur Times' digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cover local, regional, breaking, and assigned news stories.

• Conduct interviews with officials, public representatives, experts, and citizens.

• Present news confidently and professionally on camera.

• Write and prepare clear Hindi news scripts, reports, headlines, and video content.

• Attend press conferences, events, and field assignments.

• Verify information and maintain accuracy before publication.

• Coordinate with editors, camera persons, and the digital team.

• Create content suitable for the Jaipur Times website, YouTube, and social media platforms.

• Be available for important breaking-news assignments when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant reporting, journalism, anchoring, or media experience.

• Strong Hindi speaking and writing skills.

• Good communication and interviewing skills.

• Confidence in front of the camera.

• Understanding of digital and social media news.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

• Knowledge of Jaipur and Rajasthan's local issues will be preferred.
