Reporting To: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager

JOB PURPOSETo generate catering orders and event business by identifying prospective clients, conducting field visits, building relationships with corporates, event planners, wedding organizers, institutions, and individual customers, and achieving sales targets through effective business development activities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESBusiness Development• Conduct daily field visits to corporates, factories, offices,banquet halls, wedding venues, and event organizers.

• Identify opportunities for corporate catering, wedding catering, birthday parties, social events, conferences, and bulk food orders.

• Generate new leads through market visits, referrals, networking, and cold calling.

• Develop relationships with event planners, banquet managers, wedding coordinators, HR managers, and procurement teams.

• Promote catering packages and customized food solutions.

Sales Activities• Meet prospective customers and understand their event requirements.

• Present catering menus, pricing packages, and service offerings.

• Conduct food tasting sessions and service presentations when required.

• Prepare quotations and proposals for clients.

• Negotiate commercial terms and close catering contracts.

• Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings.

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.

• Generate repeat business from corporate and individual clients.

• Ensure customer satisfaction before, during, and after events.

• Handle customer queries, complaints, and service feedback.

Market Development• Collect information regarding competitors, pricing, and market trends.

• Identify new territories and customer segments.

• Participate in exhibitions, wedding expos, food festivals, and promotional activities.

Reporting & Coordination• Submit Daily Visit Reports (DVR) and Weekly Sales Reports.

• Maintain lead database and sales pipeline.

• Coordinate with operations, kitchen, logistics, and event execution teams.

• Ensure smooth communication between clients and internal departments.

• Assist in payment collection and follow-up of outstanding dues.

EDUCATIONMinimum Qualification: Graduate in Any Discipline

Preferred Qualification: MBA (Sales & Marketing), Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Event Management

EXPERIENCEMinimum Experience: 1-3 Years

Preferred Experience: Catering Sales, Hospitality Sales, Event Sales, Banquet Sales, Corporate Sales, Business Development

• Familiarity with WhatsApp Business, Google Maps, CRM Software, and MS Excel.

• Strong networking skills.

• Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.

• Availability to attend client meetings during evenings, weekends, and event seasons when required.

• Ability to professionally represent the company before corporate clients, wedding planners, and event organizers.
