About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented CAM Operator to manage the complete transition of jewellery

designs from CAD files to physical production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for converting 3D CAD models

into manufacturable jewellery pieces and overseeing the end-to-end CAM and prototype development process for

rings and other jewellery products.

Key Responsibilities

 Convert CAD designs into CAM-ready files for production.

 Prepare and optimize STL/3DM files for resin printing and casting.

 Operate and manage jewellery CAM software and 3D printing equipment.

 Ensure designs are production-friendly while maintaining design accuracy.

 Handle end-to-end ring manufacturing development, from CAD approval to final prototype.

 Coordinate with CAD designers, casting team, setters, polishers, and production staff.

 Check dimensions, stone settings, metal weight, and structural feasibility before production.

 Monitor resin printing quality and troubleshoot printing issues.

 Maintain production records, file management, and design archives.

 Identify and resolve manufacturing challenges before mass production.

 Ensure timely delivery of samples and production orders.

 Suggest improvements in manufacturing processes to reduce wastage and increase efficiency.Required Skills

 Hands-on experience in jewellery CAM operations.

 Proficiency in software such as Matrix, Rhino, Materialise Magics, Chitubox, or similar CAM software.

 Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes including:

 CAD Design

 CAM Preparation

 Resin Printing

 Casting

 Filing & Assembly

 Stone Setting

 Polishing & Finishing

 Knowledge of metal shrinkage, casting tolerances, and stone-setting requirements.

 Ability to identify production defects and recommend solutions.

 Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Qualifications

 Minimum 2 years of experience in jewellery CAM operations.

 Experience in gold, diamond, gemstone, or silver jewellery manufacturing preferred.

 Diploma/Degree or relevant certification in Jewellery Design & Manufacturing is an advantage.
