Job Description

Sales Executive

Role Summary

The Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying prospective clients, understanding 

project requirements, conducting client meetings and developing relationships with key stakeholders. The role supports the 

complete sales cycle by coordinating with the Sales Manager and internal teams to convert qualified opportunities into business 

while achieving assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through field visits, assigned leads, referrals, architects, consultants, 

contractors, digital outreach and networking activities.

• Meet prospective clients to understand project requirements, application, budget, project timeline, decision-making process 

and technical expectations.

• Qualify sales opportunities based on project feasibility, customer requirements and business potential.

• Coordinate with the Design, Estimation and Sales Manager for preparation of technical proposals, commercial quotations and 

solution presentations.

• Present company capabilities, proposals and commercial offers to clients, address queries, handle objections and support 

negotiations to secure orders.

• Plan and coordinate client meetings, site visits and technical discussions throughout the sales cycle.

• Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, proposals, follow-ups and opportunity status in the CRM or 

prescribed reporting system.

• Achieve assigned targets for lead generation, client meetings, proposal conversion, order booking and revenue generation.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, consultants, industrial clients, developers, contractors and channel 

partners to generate repeat and referral business.

• Gather market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, industry trends and customer requirements, and share actionable

insights with the Sales Manager.

• Ensure a smooth customer handover after order confirmation by coordinating with the Operations, Projects, Design and 

Accounts teams to support successful project execution and client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications & Experience & Experience

• Graduate in any discipline; Diploma/Degree in Civil, Mechanical or related Engineering, or an MBA in Marketing/Sales will be 

an added advantage.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B Sales, Industrial Products, Construction, Steel, PEB, Infrastructure, Building Materials or 

Real Estate.

• Experience in field sales and direct customer interaction is preferred.

• Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings, site visits and business development activities.

• Valid driving licence will be an added advantage.
