AutoCAD Drafter

A Civil Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans based on inputs from engineers, architects, and consultants. The role involves translating design concepts into accurate construction drawings for execution on site, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and project requirements.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed civil drawings including:
• Site layout plans
• Road and pavement drawings
• Drainage and utility layouts
• Structural drawings (RCC details, bar bending schedules)
• Building plans and sections
• Convert concept designs / hand sketches into CAD drawings (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.)
• Ensure drawings comply with:
• Relevant IS codes / IRC / MoRTH specifications
• Project design basis reports and tender documents
• Coordinate with:
• Civil engineers
• Structural consultants
• MEP teams
• to incorporate all design inputs into drawings
• Revise drawings based on:
• Engineer comments
• Site conditions
• Authority/consultant approvals
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and document control
• Prepare as-built drawings based on site execution
