QC Associate

Shark Certification Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and competent QA/QC to join our Food Consulting Team. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical consultancy, supporting food safety and quality management systems, conducting audits/assessments, preparing documentation, and assisting clients in compliance with applicable food safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide food safety, quality and technical consultancy to clients.
• Develop, implement and review Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) and related documentation.
• Prepare and review SOPs, SSOPs, HACCP Plans, Food Safety Plans, GMP/GHP/GMP+ documentation, risk assessments, manuals and formats.
• Conduct internal audits, gap assessments, compliance assessments and site inspections.
• Support clients in implementation and documentation of HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, GMP, GHP and other food safety standards.
• Identify non-conformities and provide effective corrective and preventive action (CAPA) recommendations.
• Conduct training programs on Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, GHP, Hygiene, Food Handling and related topics.
• Assist clients during certification audits and regulatory inspections.
• Prepare professional audit reports, assessment reports and other technical documents.
• Keep updated with changes in food safety standards, regulations and industry requirements.
• Coordinate with clients and certification/audit teams for successful completion of projects.

Required Qualification

• B.Tech / M.Tech / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, Microbiology or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in food industry, food consulting, food safety, auditing, certification or quality assurance.
• Good practical knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP and Food Safety Management Systems.
• Experience in documentation and implementation of food safety systems will be preferred.
• Good communication, report-writing and client-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel for client visits, audits, inspections and training programs.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 / HACCP / GMP / GHP.
• Experience in conducting internal audits and gap assessments.
• Experience in preparing food safety documentation.
• Training/consultancy experience will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and documentation systems.
• Ability to independently handle client assignments.
