Mechanical Site Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, vendors, and site workers for smooth execution of work.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company procedures at the project site.
• Monitor material consumption, equipment utilization, and manpower deployment.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain daily progress reports.
• Verify measurements and quantities for billing and project documentation.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project activities.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Identify site issues and provide timely solutions to avoid project delays.
• Maintain project records, reports, checklists, and documentation.
• Participate in client meetings and provide project updates when required.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and construction/site execution.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and project management tools will be an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites.
