Job Description

Job Responsibilities – Field Maintenance Executive (Burger Farm)


Visit assigned Burger Farm outlets as per the maintenance schedule.


Conduct daily/weekly preventive maintenance of restaurant equipment.


Attend breakdown complaints within the defined turnaround time.


Inspect kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, exhaust systems, and air conditioners.


Carry out minor electrical, plumbing, and civil repair work.


Replace faulty electrical components such as switches, sockets, MCBs, lights, and wiring.


Ensure all kitchen equipment is functioning properly.


Perform basic troubleshooting before escalating to external vendors.


Coordinate with authorized service vendors for major repairs.


Track all maintenance requests until closure.


Maintain preventive maintenance checklists for every store.


Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards during maintenance.


Maintain proper housekeeping in maintenance work areas.


Ensure uninterrupted operation of utilities like electricity and water.


Monitor DG set, UPS, and power backup systems where applicable.


Inspect fire safety equipment and report deficiencies.


Check emergency lighting and exit signage.


Ensure proper functioning of HVAC and ventilation systems.


Inspect exhaust ducts and kitchen ventilation.


Monitor water leakage and plumbing issues.


Maintain records of equipment service history.


Prepare daily maintenance reports.


Submit weekly work completion reports to the Maintenance Manager.


Record spare parts usage.


Maintain inventory of frequently used spare parts and tools.


Recommend procurement of required spare parts.


Reduce equipment downtime through preventive maintenance.


Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company SOPs.


Support new store opening (NSO) maintenance activities.


Assist in installation of new equipment.


Verify equipment after installation.


Coordinate with store managers regarding maintenance schedules.


Respond to emergency maintenance calls during operational hours.


Ensure proper calibration of equipment where applicable.


Conduct periodic inspection of electrical panels.


Identify potential safety hazards and report immediately.


Ensure proper earthing of electrical installations.


Check water purifier and RO systems.


Monitor cold room temperatures.


Inspect refrigeration gas leakage.


Repair minor furniture and fixtures.


Ensure proper functioning of doors, locks, and shutters.


Maintain signboards and branding fixtures.


Coordinate painting and civil maintenance work.


Verify vendor work quality before closing service requests.


Maintain attendance and travel records.


Follow all company safety guidelines while working.


Wear PPE during maintenance activities.


Travel to multiple store locations as assigned.


Perform any additional maintenance-related task assigned by management.

1–3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in QSR, Restaurants, Retail, Hotels, or Facility Management.
