Job Title: Field Sales Executive – Solar (Domestic & Commercial)

Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh

1. About the Role:

We are looking for a field sales professional who can confidently meet customers, explain solar solutions in simple language and close high‑quality deals for our residential and commercial solar projects. This is a performance‑driven role with a fixed salary and attractive incentives.


2. Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads through cold calling, field visits, references and local networking.
  • Call and explain Sudarshan Solar’s services to prospective clients in Hindi and simple English.
  • Fix appointments and visit customer locations for site discussions.
  • Understand basic customer requirements (load, bill amount, roof area) and explain benefits of solar – savings, payback, subsidy, net‑metering in a simple way.
  • Follow up and nurture leads systematically till closure.
  • Handle basic price negotiation within approved margins and share input with senior management for final approval when required.
  • Coordinate with the technical / operations team for site visits, proposals and installation schedules.
  • Share and explain quotations in MS Word / PDF to customers via WhatsApp and email.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, calls, visits, quotations and closures in Google Sheets / CRM as per company format.
  • Collect KYC documents and basic project details from customers and hand over to back‑office team.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets for order bookings and revenue.
  • Represent Sudarshan Solar professionally in the field and build strong relationships with customers, influencers and local partners.


3. Candidate Profile:

Must‑haves:

  • 1–2 years of field sales experience, preferably in solar, electrical, inverter, battery, consumer durables or similar technical products.
  • Comfortable in door‑to‑door visits, market visits and frequent field travel in and around Indore.
  • Good communication skills in Hindi and basic English; able to explain technical points in simple words.
  • Basic computer skills: Google Sheets, MS Word, WhatsApp, email; comfortable using mobile apps for leads and location sharing.
  • Own two‑wheeler and valid driving licence (field visits are mandatory).
  • Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and hungry to earn incentives.
  • Honest, punctual and willing to work in a structured, process‑driven environment.


Good to have:

  • Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Energy or any technical stream.
  • Prior experience in rooftop solar sales (residential / commercial).
  • Familiarity with basic concepts like kW, units, electricity bill, net meter, inverter, battery etc.

5. Education:

  • Minimum: 12th pass
  • Preferred: Diploma / Graduate (any stream; technical will be an advantage)


6. Salary, Incentives and Benefits:

  • Fixed Salary: Up to ₹16,000 - ₹25,000 per month (depending on experience and interview performance).
  • Incentives: Attractive performance‑based incentives on each converted project.
  • Conveyance: Petrol allowance / reimbursement for approved field visits as per company policy.
  • Mobile & Data: Business calls and data usage reimbursed as per policy (if applicable).
  • Opportunity to grow into Senior Sales Executive / Team Leader based on performance.


7. Work Schedule:

  • Working days: 6 days a week (Sunday / weekday off as per company policy).
  • Timings: As per company sales schedule (field work + office reporting).
  • Candidates must be flexible to work on weekends / evenings when customer meetings demand.

  • Positive, energetic and comfortable talking to new people every day.
  • Takes ownership of targets and does not wait for instructions.
  • Respects customers and colleagues; follows company rules and reporting formats.
  • Ready to learn about solar and upgrade knowledge regularly through company training.
