Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, field-focused Recruiter with experience in the automotive or related industrial sectors. This role is specifically tailored to hire semi-skilled and labor-level staff—such as godown workers, tire fitters, loaders, and supervisors—who will be working in a practical, often physically demanding environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable conducting walk-in drives on-site, sourcing talent from local workshops, automotive hubs, and industrial areas.
- Key Responsibilities
- Field Recruitment & Walk-In DrivesOrganize and conduct on-site walk-in interviews in industrial areas, local workshops, and automotive zones.
- Identify and target locations where labor-intensive staff (such as tire handlers, fitters, or supervisors) can be sourced.
- Candidate IdentificationSource semi-skilled labor, mechanics, godown helpers, loaders, drivers, and other roles typical to tire handling or warehouse environments.
- Build relationships with local automotive shops, tire dealers, and labor hubs to create a reliable talent pipeline.
- Interview & AssessmentConduct practical, on-the-spot interviews to evaluate candidates’ physical capability, prior experience (e.g., tire handling, warehouse work), and willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment.
- Assess salary expectations, notice periods, and cultural fit for a tire business setting.
- Network Building & RetentionMaintain a strong network for repeat hiring needs, ensuring future roles can be quickly filled.
- Suggest strategies to retain workers longer—such as hiring locally or offering practical incentives.
- Documentation & ComplianceCollect and verify necessary documents (Aadhaar, ID proofs) from selected candidates.
- Ensure compliance with company hiring policies, especially for labor laws.
- Required Qualifications2–5 years of recruitment experience in the automotive, industrial, or manufacturing sector.
- Hands-on experience in field hiring, especially for labor or warehouse roles.
- Fluent in Hindi; basic English communication is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills—comfortable interacting with labor-level staff who may not have formal professional backgrounds.
- Behavioral CompetenciesPatience and practicality—understanding the real-world challenges of hiring for physically demanding roles.
- Confidence to engage directly with candidates on-site and build trust in less formal environments.
- Practical, results-driven mindset—focused on filling roles quickly and effectively.
