Job Description
Role Summary:
Lead and manage day-to-day recovery operations for bank/NBFC loan accounts. Ensure high collection efficiency, maintain compliance, and build a disciplined recovery team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management
- Hire, train, and manage tele-callers/field agents
- Set daily/weekly/monthly collection targets and track performance
- Conduct regular reviews and motivation sessions
2. Recovery Operations
- Handle overdue, NPA, and stressed loan accounts
- Design collection strategies: calls, visits, legal notices, settlement negotiations
- Ensure minimum DPD >90 days and maximize recovery %
3. Compliance & Documentation
- Follow RBI guidelines + bank protocols for recovery calls/visits
- Maintain proper call recordings, field visit reports, and case files
- Coordinate with legal team for SARFAESI/180-day cases
4. Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily collection reports, bounce reports, contactability reports
- Update bank portals/CRM with case status and remarks
- Forecast monthly collections and share insights with management
5. Client/Bank Coordination
- Be SPOC for bank/NBFC clients
- Handle escalations, grievances, and special cases
- Build trust and maintain professional relationship
