Hardware & Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager of Field and In-House Hardware and Networking Engineering to lead our engineering teams and oversee hardware and networking projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in project management. This role involves managing a team of support engineers, ensuring operational excellence, and driving successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1.   Perform field work by installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IT hardware, including computers, servers, printers, biometric systems, and network devices (both managed and unmanaged).

2.   Install and configure CCTV systems (analog and IP) and ensure proper functionality.

3.   Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on client systems on-site, including printers (USB and network).

4.   Diagnose hardware issues and provide timely solutions during field visits.

5.   Configure software firewalls to enhance network security.

6.   Deliver excellent customer service while interacting with clients on-site.

7.   Document all service requests and resolutions accurately.

8.   Collaborate with the support team to resolve complex issues as needed.

9.   Stay updated with the latest hardware technologies and trends.

Qualifications:

1.   Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2.   2+ years of proven experience in IT hardware installation and troubleshooting.

3.   Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, printers (including USB and network), biometric systems, and networking.

4.   Familiarity with software firewalls and network security protocols.

5.   Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

6.   Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.

7.   Willingness to travel to client sites in designated locations.
