Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Routine Inspections: Check physical condition, pressure gauges, and seals for damage, leaks, or wear.
- Testing and Certification: Conduct operational and hydrostatic pressure tests on cylinders.
- Recharging and Refilling: Empty, refill, and recharge units after use or expiration dates.
- Installation and Placement: Mount new extinguishers securely in accessible, code-compliant areas.
- Repairs: Replace broken valves, hoses, and faulty mechanical parts.
- Record Keeping: Log all service history, tagging dates and test results on each device.
