Deputy Manager - Process Engineering for Machine Shop

Process Engineering & Improvement

• Develop, validate, and optimize machining processes for components such as cylinder block, cylinder head, housings, and related engine parts.
• Prepare and maintain process flow charts, PFMEA, control plans, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Drive cycle time reduction, productivity improvement, and process stabilization initiatives.
• Support introduction of new products, new machines, and process changes.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, process audits, and customer requirements.
• Analyze internal and external quality issues (NCs, rejections, audit observations) and implement root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
• Support product and process audits and closure of major/repeat NCs.

Manufacturing Support

• Provide day-to-day technical support to production teams for process-related issues.
• Coordinate with maintenance, tooling, quality, and production for issue resolution.
• Ensure correct selection and usage of cutting tools, fixtures, gauges, and machines.
