Job Title: 6G / IBR Certified Welder (LPG & Natural Gas Projects)

Location: AP & TELANGANA

Qualification

ITI (Welder) or equivalent technical qualification.

Valid 6G Welding Certification and/or IBR (Indian Boiler Regulations) Certification.

Additional certifications in GTAW/TIG, SMAW, or ASME Section IX will be an added advantage.

Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in LPG, Natural Gas, industrial piping, or pressure piping projects.

Experience in installation of LPG LOT/VOT systems, gas manifolds, pressure reducing stations (PRS), and gas pipeline networks is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality welding of mild steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, and GI piping as per approved WPS/PQR.

Execute 6G welding for LPG and Natural Gas pipeline installations.

Carry out IBR-compliant welding activities wherever applicable.

Read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols.

Ensure proper alignment, fit-up, and dimensional accuracy before welding.

Coordinate with site engineers, QA/QC engineers, and inspectors for welding inspections.

Follow approved welding procedures and maintain welding quality standards.

Support hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, and commissioning activities.

Ensure compliance with PESO, IBR, ASME, and applicable Indian standards.

Maintain welding equipment, tools, and consumables in good condition.

Adhere strictly to permit-to-work systems and all safety procedures.

Skills Required

Proficient in SMAW and GTAW/TIG welding.

Ability to weld in all positions, including 6G.

Knowledge of welding defects, repairs, and quality requirements.

Ability to read engineering drawings and welding procedures.

Good understanding of industrial safety practices.
