Job Description
About the RoleAt IACE, our mission is to help students crack competitive exams and build successful careers. As a Telecaller (Online Sales), you will play a key role in connecting with prospective students, understanding their career goals, and guiding them toward the right courses. You will be responsible for converting inquiries into enrollments through effective communication, relationship building, and consistent follow-up.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Management
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to prospective students who have shown interest in IACE courses.
- Qualify leads by understanding their educational background, career aspirations, and exam goals.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with interested candidates until the admission process is completed.
Course Counseling & Sales
- Explain course features, faculty, schedules, fee structure, and learning benefits.
- Recommend suitable courses based on the student's requirements.
- Address objections and provide accurate information to help students make informed decisions.
- Convert inquiries into admissions while achieving individual and team sales targets.
Student Relationship Management
- Build rapport with prospective students and parents through professional communication.
- Ensure a positive counseling experience by responding to queries promptly.
- Coordinate with the admissions and operations teams for a smooth enrollment process.
Campaign & Promotion
- Inform prospects about new batches, scholarship tests, demo classes, workshops, and special offers.
- Promote online and offline programs through outbound calling campaigns.
- Re-engage inactive leads and previous inquiries to maximize conversions.
Data Management
- Update CRM with call outcomes, follow-up schedules, and admission status.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and daily calling activities.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on lead status and sales performance.
Required Skills & QualificationsEducation
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Candidates with knowledge of Banking, SSC, Railways, APPSC, TSPSC, or other Government competitive exams will have an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in telecalling, telesales, inside sales, customer support, or education counseling.
- Experience in EdTech, coaching institutes, or online education is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication and convincing skills may also be considered.
Languages
- Fluency in Telugu and English is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages will be an added advantage.
Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities.
- Goal-oriented with a passion for achieving sales targets.
- Basic knowledge of CRM software, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Good organizational and follow-up skills.
