Job Description
- Manage receipt, storage, and issue of materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.
- Monitor stock availability and raise purchase requests for replenishment.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Ensure proper storage and preservation of materials to avoid damage or loss.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and physical inventory verification.
- Coordinate with procurement, project, and accounts teams regarding material requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation such as GRNs, issue slips, and stock registers.
- Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory items.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures within the store.
- Track material consumption and prepare inventory reports for management.
- Manage store staff and allocate daily activities efficiently.
