Job Summary Orbit Solar Energy Systems is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, execution, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power projects. The role requires coordination with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects.
• Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), electrical layouts, cable schedules, and BOQs.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of solar power systems.
• Monitor project execution and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare technical reports.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams during project execution.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and provide technical support.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
• Verify material quality and maintain project documentation.
• Support operations and maintenance (O&M) activities when required.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of solar PV systems and EPC projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and SLDs.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment such as transformers, LT panels, HT panels, inverters, and switchgear.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Qualification

• B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
• Candidates with up to 3 years of experience in solar EPC or electrical projects will be given preference.
• Preferred RequirementsKnowledge of solar design software is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with relevant electrical standards and regulations.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Valid two-wheeler driving license is preferred.
