Service Engineer – Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and commission machines/equipment at different customer locations.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance activities at different sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation.
• Attend customer complaints at different sites and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare and submit service reports after each visit.
• Maintain records of service activities, spare parts usage, and customer feedback.
• Coordinate with production, design, and quality teams for issue resolution.
• Recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during service activities.
• Support Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) and warranty service activities.

   Required Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
