Senior Manager – Human Resources Role Summary

The Senior Manager – HR will lead and oversee the human resources function across the Real Estate, Construction, and Hospitality divisions. The role is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives, managing talent acquisition and development, ensuring statutory compliance, driving employee engagement, and fostering a high-performance culture across all business units.

  • Key Responsibilities1. HR Strategy & Business Partnership
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and business growth plans.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand workforce requirements and provide strategic HR solutions.
  • Drive organizational development initiatives and change management programs.
  • Support business expansion, restructuring, and workforce planning activities.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce PlanningLead end-to-end recruitment for corporate, project-site, and hospitality operations roles.
  • Develop manpower plans and staffing budgets for all business divisions.
  • Build talent pipelines for critical and leadership positions.
  • Strengthen employer branding and recruitment partnerships.
  • Performance Management Design and manage performance appraisal systems and KPI frameworks.
  • Facilitate goal setting, performance reviews, and succession planning.
  • Coach managers on performance improvement and talent management practices.
  • Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Learning & Development Identify training needs across departments and business units.
  • Develop leadership development and succession planning programs.
  • Organize technical, behavioral, compliance, and customer-service training initiatives.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and employee development outcomes.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture Develop and implement employee engagement programs.
  • Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and recommend improvement actions.
  • Promote diversity, inclusion, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
  • Address employee concerns and facilitate conflict resolution.
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Manage compensation structures, salary benchmarking, and incentive programs.
  • Ensure competitive remuneration practices aligned with market standards.
  • Oversee payroll coordination and employee benefits administration.
  • Support annual compensation review and budgeting processes.
  • Industrial Relations & Employee Relations Manage employee relations across corporate offices, project sites, and hospitality properties.
  • Handle grievance management, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain positive relationships with employees, contractors, and labor representatives.
  • Support workforce productivity and harmonious workplace practices.
  • HR Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee HR policies, procedures, employee records, and HRMS systems.
  • Manage audits related to labor compliance, payroll, and employee documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and welfare regulations, particularly at construction sites and hospitality operations.
  • HR Analytics & Reporting
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics including attrition, recruitment, productivity, and employee engagement.
  • Prepare HR dashboards and management reports.
  • Use workforce data to support strategic decision-making and forecasting.
  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team across locations and business divisions.
  • Establish service standards and performance expectations for HR operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and best HR practices throughout the organization.
  • Preferred QualificationsMBA / PGDM in Human Resources, Personnel Management, or related field.
  • 10–15+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in Real Estate, Construction, Hospitality, Infrastructure, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Experience managing multi-location and diverse workforce environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
