Science Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and student-focused Science Teacher to teach students in Grades 6–9. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of middle school science, a passion for teaching, and the ability to create engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that encourage students to explore, question, and understand the world around them.

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.
• Teach core concepts in areas such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Earth & Environmental Science, as appropriate for Grades 6–9.
• Use hands-on experiments, demonstrations, projects, and real-world examples to make science meaningful and engaging.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Assess student learning through classwork, assignments, quizzes, practical activities, projects, and examinations.
• Monitor and document student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Identify students who need additional support and provide appropriate intervention or enrichment.
• Encourage scientific thinking, curiosity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and evidence-based reasoning.
• Maintain accurate lesson plans, assessment records, and other academic documentation.
• Collaborate with other teachers, coordinators, and school leadership to support student learning and development.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and academic needs.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, school events, and extracurricular activities as required.
• Ensure laboratory activities and experiments are conducted safely and in accordance with school guidelines.
