Job Description

Knock Knock Doors is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager for Projects to lead and grow our B2B project sales business in the building materials segment. The role involves handling key project clients, managing a team of sales executives, driving revenue growth, and ensuring effective execution of project sales activities.


The ideal candidate should have strong field sales experience along with leadership capabilities to manage day-to-day sales operations, team performance, and client relationships across builders, architects, contractors, and commercial projects.


Key Responsibilities


Project Sales & Business Development


  • Conduct field visits to meet prospective clients such as Builders, Commercial Developers, Contractors, Architects, Interior Designers, Purchase Managers, and Project Managers.
  • Promote Knock Knock Doors products and solutions through technical discussions, presentations, and relationship-building activities.
  • Understand project requirements and recommend suitable door solutions based on technical and commercial needs.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and follow up to close project deals.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the construction and interior industry.
  • Track project pipeline and ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Take or supervise site measurements for project estimations and execution coordination.


Team Management & Sales Operations


  • Lead and manage the Projects Sales team to achieve business targets.
  • Conduct daily sales review calls and monitor team activity.
  • Allocate leads, territories, and project responsibilities among team members.
  • Track individual and team performance against targets and KPIs.
  • Guide the team on follow-ups, client handling, negotiation, and deal closure strategies.
  • Train and mentor sales executives on products, sales processes, and field execution.
  • Ensure timely CRM/reporting updates and maintain sales discipline within the team.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as production, estimation, accounts, and installation teams for smooth project execution.


Required Experience & Skills


  • 8+ years of experience in sales within building materials, construction materials, interiors, doors/windows, or related industries.
  • Strong experience in B2B project sales involving Builders, Architects, Contractors, and Commercial Projects.
  • Prior experience in handling or leading a sales team is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to motivate teams and drive target-oriented performance.
  • Languages: Telugu, English, Hindi.
  • Strong client relationship management and deal-closing capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field sales environment.


Mandatory Requirement


  • Existing network with Builders, Architects, Interior Designers, or Contractors.
  • Must own a two-wheeler (bike) for field visits.
  • Company will provide fuel reimbursement for business travel.


Good to Have


  • Experience selling doors, windows, modular products, or related building materials.
  • Experience using CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
