Job Description – Sales Executive (Field Sales & Awareness Executive)

Role Overview

Sales Executive is responsible for executing on-ground awareness and sales activities across assigned villages/towns. The role involves direct consumer interaction, product demonstration, and sales conversion, while ensuring adherence to campaign SOPs and reporting protocols.



Key Objectives

  • Drive awareness on dental health and oral hygiene
  • Conduct direct consumer sales
  • Ensure complete coverage of assigned route plan
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets



Key Responsibilities

1. Route Execution & Coverage

  • Visit 1 village/town per day as per assigned route plan
  • Cover ~75 villages/towns per quarter
  • Ensure no skips or delays in planned coverage



2. Market/Kiosk Activation

  • Set up kiosk/activation in market/haat areas twice daily
  • Educate consumers on:
  • Dental health
  • Tooth sensitivity
  • Importance of oral hygiene
  • Engage with consumers to:
  • Explain product benefits
  • Drive trials and conversions
  • Communicate clearly in local language/dialect



3. Product Demonstration & Sampling

  • Conduct:
  • Chill Test (to demonstrate tooth sensitivity)
  • Toothbrush/product demo
  • Distribute samples as per guidelines
  • Ensure proper explanation during demos to drive conversion



4. Sales & Target Achievement

  • Achieve daily sales targets
  • Convert:
  • Awareness → Trial → Purchase
  • Ensure stocks are sold only to end consumers (no retail diversion)



5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Submit daily reports via application and as per shared formats, including:
  • Village covered
  • Number of interactions
  • Demos conducted
  • Samples distributed
  • Sales achieved
  • Ensure accuracy and honesty in reporting
  • Submit required proofs (if applicable)



6. Stock Handling & Compliance

  • Maintain proper stock records
  • Ensure:
  • No stock loss or damage
  • Proper utilization of samples
  • Follow all stock and audit guidelines



7. SOP Adherence

  • Execute all activities strictly as per SOP
  • Follow:
  • Prescribed sales pitch
  • Demo process
  • Engagement guidelines
  • Avoid any deviation or malpractice



Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Daily/Monthly Sales Achievement
  • Village Coverage (as per route plan)
  • Number of consumer interactions
  • Demo & Sampling execution
  • Reporting accuracy and timeliness



Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of sales experience (field sales preferred)
  • Strong communication skills (local language preferred)
  • Basic sales and persuasion ability
  • Comfortable with field travel and rural engagement
  • Ability to maintain records and follow processes
  • Honest, disciplined, and target-driven



Important Compliance Notes

  • No retail selling or stock diversion allowed
  • Strict adherence to SOP and reporting formats
  • Reporting must be done on the application and as per shared formats
  • Participation in audits and verification processes is mandatory
  • Non-compliance may lead to penalties or termination
