Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Operation Theatre (OT) Nurse with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in assisting surgical procedures. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Orthopedic, General Surgery, and Neurosurgery cases, ensuring high standards of patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile and safe operating environment.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare the operation theatre before surgical procedures by ensuring all instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterilized and readily available.
• Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and the surgical team during Orthopedic, General Surgery, and Neurosurgery procedures.
• Maintain strict aseptic and infection control protocols throughout all surgical procedures.
• Perform instrument counting before, during, and after surgeries to ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and position patients for surgery according to the surgical team's requirements.
• Monitor patients during surgical procedures and promptly report any abnormalities to the surgical team.
• Handle, clean, and maintain surgical instruments and OT equipment according to hospital protocols.
• Assist in post-operative patient transfer and ensure proper documentation of surgical procedures.
• Coordinate with CSSD, anesthesia, and other departments to ensure smooth OT operations.
• Maintain accurate patient records, OT registers, and inventory documentation.
• Adhere to hospital policies, quality standards, and patient safety guidelines.
• Required QualificationsB.Sc. Nursing or GNM from a recognized institution.
• Valid Nursing Council Registration.
• Certification in OT Nursing or Critical Care Nursing is an added advantage.
• ExperienceMinimum 3 years of experience as an Operation Theatre Nurse.
• Hands-on experience in Orthopedic, General Surgery, and Neurosurgery procedures is mandatory.
• Experience in handling advanced OT equipment and surgical instruments.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of surgical procedures and OT protocols.
• Excellent understanding of sterilization and infection prevention practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure surgical environments.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
