Job Description – IT Software / IT Product Sales Manager

Experience: 5–8 Years (Mandatory)

CTC: ₹4.5 – ₹6.0 LPA (Non-Negotiable)

Role Overview : We are looking for a highly driven, performance-oriented IT Software / IT Product Sales Manager who can independently generate business, close deals, and consistently achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate must have proven experience selling IT services, SaaS products, software solutions, web/mobile applications, AI solutions, ERP/CRM systems, training solutions, or enterprise technology offerings.

This role is focused on results, revenue growth, customer acquisition, and sales ownership. Candidates should be comfortable handling the complete sales cycle—from lead generation to closure and account expansion.

  • Key Responsibilities Revenue & Business Growth Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets consistently.
  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound and inbound channels.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with predictable closures.
  • Own end-to-end sales lifecycle including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and closure.
  • Deliver measurable growth in customer acquisition and retention.
  • IT Product / Software software products, SaaS subscriptions, web applications, mobile applications, AI solutions, digital transformation services, and enterprise software.
  • Understand customer business requirements and map suitable technology solutions.
  • Conduct demos, product presentations, and solution walkthroughs.
  • Create commercial proposals, quotations, and business presentations.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management Identify and target SMEs, startups, enterprises, educational institutions, and corporate clients.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, renewals, and subscriptions.
  • Coordinate with delivery and technical teams for smooth onboarding.
  • Sales Operations & Reporting Maintain CRM hygiene and sales forecasting.
  • Track KPIs including:

  • Revenue Generated
  • Monthly Closures
  • Conversion Rate
  • Pipeline Value
  • Lead-to-Customer Ratio
  • Customer Retention
  • Average Deal Size
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
  • Mandatory Requirements5–8 years of proven IT Software / IT Product Sales experience.
  • Strong track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in B2B Sales and solution selling.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and technology offerings.
  • Experience in selling one or more:

  • SaaS Platforms
  • ERP / CRM Solutions
  • AI/ML Solutions
  • Web & Mobile Applications

  • Cloud Solutions
  • Training / Technology Services
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable with cold calling, meetings, demos, and closing.
  • Preferred Skills Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Digital sales and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Proposal writing and commercial negotiations.
  • Strong business networking ability.
  • Knowledge of AI and emerging technologies is an advantage.
