Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with hands-on experience in GST compliance, taxation, bookkeeping, and financial record management. The candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure timely tax filings, and assist in maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and record daily financial transactions.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts.
• Handle GST compliance, including GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
• Reconcile GST input and output tax records.
• Assist in TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing.
• Prepare tax-related documentation and support statutory audits.
• Generate invoices, track payments, and manage accounts receivable/payable.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience with exposure to GST and taxation.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic income tax provisions.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organizational abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GST reconciliation and tax compliance.
• Familiarity with payroll accounting.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
