About the role
The Senior Manager for Record to Report (RTR) and Controllership & Specialist Finance (C&SF) is responsible for managing the technical IT&D capabilities, BAU operations and future roadmap for these critical finance functions
Your responsibilities
- Creating a roadmap to deliver the tools needed by the organisation based in the ‘best-in’ class or cost model for the capabilities you own
- Manage BAU operations for the areas, supporting the Principal BA and the team on escalation and prioritisation
- Working with business users to support adoption of digital first tools and living the strategy, challenging where required
- Working with third parties to deliver outsourced models where needed or appropriate
- Supporting the IT architecture as required
- Support a data strategy in partnership with the data team
The experience we're looking for
- Extensive experience in process optimisation around SAP RTR and C&SF
- Experience of managing BAU technology with service management processes (Incident, problem, change, release) in regulated environments
- Experience of working with and influencing senior stakeholders to balance business needs with IT standards and processes.
- Enthusiastic about the use of technology, with a proven ability to provide a communication ‘bridge’ between the business and technologists.
- Experience of working in a product operating model with Agile delivery environment
- Experience of supporting complex change and / or multi-disciplinary projects
