Job Title: Senior Interior Designer / Design Lead

Location: Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer / Design Lead to drive design excellence and lead end-to-end interior design projects. This role requires someone who can independently manage design development, coordinate with clients and project teams, mentor junior designers, and contribute to high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop creative interior design concepts and space planning solutions.
• Prepare layouts, mood boards, and material selection presentations.
• Present design concepts and solutions to clients.
• Coordinate with 3D Visualizers, CAD teams, and site execution teams.
• Prepare and review design detailing before project execution.
• Provide design clarifications during site execution.
• Ensure timely delivery of design outputs while maintaining quality standards.
• Lead and mentor junior designers.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, or B.Arch with interior design experience.
• 5–8+ years of experience in residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, clinic, or office interiors.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design and execution capabilities.
• Excellent communication and client presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams.

Technical Skills:

Must Have:

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• PowerPoint / Canva
• Basic MS Excel

Good to Have:

• Lumion
• Enscape
• V-Ray
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe InDesign

Desired Qualities:

• Strong design sense and creativity.
• Excellent understanding of proportions, materials, colours, and detailing.
• Ability to translate design concepts into practical execution.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Confident in client interactions and presentations.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with site teams.
• Strong attention to detail and quality review before drawing release.

Preferred Experience:

• Luxury residential or premium commercial interior projects.
• Strong presentation and visualization skills.
• Knowledge of furniture, lighting, flooring, ceiling, and wall finishes.
• Familiarity with vendors, materials, and interior execution processes.
