Job Description

Alkemy Edtech is hiring confident and result-oriented Inside Sales Executives to handle student counselling and program conversions through Google Meet consultations and virtual counselling sessions.

The role involves interacting with prospective students and parents, understanding their career goals, explaining Alkemy’s programs, conducting detailed counselling sessions, and converting qualified leads into enrollments.

Candidates should have strong communication, presentation, counselling, and closing skills with the ability to handle online consultations professionally.


Key Responsibilities

Student Counselling & Sales Conversion

  • Conduct detailed counselling sessions with prospective students and parents through Google Meet and phone calls
  • Understand student background, career goals, and learning requirements
  • Present and explain Alkemy’s courses, career pathways, and learning outcomes
  • Handle objections and guide students through the enrollment process
  • Convert qualified leads into paid enrollments


Lead Management & Follow-Ups

  • Handle leads assigned through marketing campaigns, webinars, social media, and telecalling teams
  • Maintain regular follow-ups with interested candidates
  • Ensure high demo attendance and conversion rates
  • Track lead status and maintain accurate CRM updates


Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with telecalling teams, trainers, and operations teams for smooth student onboarding
  • Maintain daily reports on:
  • Counselling sessions conducted
  • Follow-ups completed
  • Conversions achieved
  • Revenue generated
  • Meet assigned sales and conversion targets


Candidate Requirements

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Confidence in handling virtual counselling and sales discussions
  • Good convincing and objection-handling abilities
  • Comfortable conducting sessions on Google Meet and video calls
  • Target-oriented and sales-driven mindset
  • Basic CRM and computer knowledge
  • Prior experience in EdTech sales, inside sales, counselling, or telesales preferred
  • Freshers with excellent communication and strong sales aptitude may also apply
