Front Office Receptionist

About the Role;

High and Dry Luxury Laundry Studio is looking for a well-presented, customer-focused and organized Front Desk Receptionist to manage the front desk and provide a premium customer experience.

The role involves welcoming customers, handling enquiries and orders, coordinating laundry pickups and deliveries, maintaining customer records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day front desk operations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Handle customer enquiries through walk-ins, phone calls and WhatsApp.
• Understand customer requirements and explain available laundry and garment-care services.
• Create and maintain customer orders, invoices and service records.
• Receive garments from customers and ensure proper tagging, recording and handover.
• Coordinate with the laundry/operations team regarding customer orders and special instructions.
• Track order status and provide customers with timely updates.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with the relevant team.
• Handle customer complaints and service-related queries professionally and escalate issues when required.
• Maintain accurate customer information and daily front desk records.
• Coordinate payments, billing and basic cash/card/UPI transactions as required.
• Follow up with customers regarding pending orders, deliveries and payments.
• Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming reception area.
• Support daily administrative activities at the studio.
• Ensure customers receive a premium and personalized service experience.
• Preferred Experience1–3 years of experience in front desk, receptionist, customer service, retail, hospitality, salon, premium retail or similar roles.
• Experience in luxury retail, hospitality or premium customer service will be an advantage.
• Freshers with excellent communication and customer-handling skills may also be considered.
