Fitter

We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Fitter to maintain, repair, and install bakery production machinery and equipment. The candidate will ensure the smooth operation of machines used in cake, bakery, and confectionery production while minimising downtime and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain bakery production machines and equipment.
• Repair mechanical faults in mixers, ovens, conveyors, slicers, packaging machines, and other bakery equipment.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Check machine performance and ensure smooth production operations.
• Replace damaged machine parts and components when required.
• Maintain tools and maintenance records properly.
• Coordinate with production staff for timely machine servicing.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist in factory setup, machine shifting, and equipment installation.
• Ensure minimum machine downtime during production hours.
