Counter Sales Executive

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Counter Sales Executive for a self-service tiffin center. The candidate will be responsible for counter sales, billing, cash handling, customer interaction, basic stock coordination and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the counter during operating hours and ensure smooth customer flow.
• Handle billing, cash collections and payment transactions accurately.
• Maintain proper daily cash and sales records.
• Attend to customers politely and handle basic customer queries or complaints.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff for smooth order flow.
• Monitor basic stock availability and inform management about shortages.
• Assist in checking incoming materials and maintaining basic store records.
• Coordinate and supervise counter/service staff during the shift.
• Ensure staff follow assigned duties, timings and basic discipline.
• Ensure proper opening and closing of the counter.
• Report any cash, stock, customer or staff-related issue promptly to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization around the counter.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in cash handling, billing and customer-facing roles is required.
• Experience in a tiffin center, restaurant, hotel, supermarket, retail outlet, bakery or similar private-sector business will be considered.
• Should be comfortable handling cash and POS/billing systems.
• Basic understanding of stock/inventory handling is preferred.
• Should be able to coordinate and handle staff when required.
• Must be trustworthy, responsible, punctual and responsive.
• Good customer-handling and communication skills.
• Must be comfortable with the split-shift working hours.
• Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets is an advantage.
