Bar Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead bar operations at Akan Pub, Madhapur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving bar performance, ensuring top-notch guest experience, managing inventory and costs, and leading a high-performing bar team in a fast-paced pub environment.

• Key Responsibilities
• Oversee complete bar operations, including service standards, hygiene, and compliance
• Manage and train bartenders, bar backs, and support staff
• Create and execute beverage menus, cocktails, and promotions
• Control inventory, wastage, and cost (liquor, mixers, glassware)
• Ensure adherence to licensing laws, safety, and company SOPs
• Handle guest interactions, feedback, and issue resolution professionally
• Coordinate with operations, kitchen, and management teams
• Drive revenue through upselling, events, and bar activations
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on sales, stock, and performance
• RequirementsMinimum 6–8 years of experience in bar/pub operations
• At least 2–3 years in a Bar Manager / Assistant Bar Manager role
• Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, bar equipment, and trends
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Good communication skills (English required)
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Strong control over costs, inventory, and vendor management
