Job Title: AutoCAD Sheet Metal Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Sheet Metal Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience creating detailed sheet metal fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D sheet metal fabrication drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create detailed part, assembly, and production drawings.
• Develop flat patterns and bending details.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams.
• Revise drawings based on engineering and customer requirements.
• Maintain drawing standards and documentation.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of sheet metal design, fabrication, bending, and welding.
• Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, or other CAD software.
• Knowledge of laser cutting, CNC punching, and press brake operations.
• Familiarity with manufacturing and fabrication standards.
