Job Description
Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM) –Retail: Project Sales (Sanitary Ware
Industry)
Location: As per assigned territory
CTC: ₹7 LPA – ₹8 LPA
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in sanitary ware / building materials /
tiles / bath fittings industry
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Area Sales Manager to drive Retail & Project sales and
strengthen our dealer network in the sanitary ware segment. The role involves regular market
visits, dealer engagement, and consistent reporting to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales growth through dealers and distributors & Projects in the assigned territory.
Conduct daily visits to ensure strong relationships and continuous business flow.
Monitor dealer stock levels, product movement, and ensure availability of key SKUs.
Expand and manage the dealer/distributor network to increase market penetration.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Identify new business opportunities in retail and project segments (builders, contractors,
architects).
Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
Ensure timely collections and maintain credit discipline.
Provide regular sales reports (daily/weekly/monthly) to senior management / Head
Office (HO).
Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, marketing) for smooth operations.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in sanitary ware, tiles, CP fittings, or building materials
industry.
Strong network with dealers, distributors, and retailers.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
Willingness to travel extensively for market visits.
Good communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
