Job Opening: Accountant – CA Firm

Salary: ₹20,000–₹25,000 per month, depending on experience and skills

We are looking for an Accountant with hands-on experience in accounting, Indian statutory compliances, registrations, return filings, and audit execution. The role includes client interaction and opportunities to work on assignments for businesses in India, the US, and the UAE (Dubai).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts, perform reconciliations, and prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Handle GST registrations, amendments, return filings, and input tax credit reconciliations.
• Prepare income tax computations, ITRs, TDS/TCS workings, and related returns.
• Assist with business registrations, ROC/MCA filings, and company and LLP compliances.
• Handle payroll workings and applicable PF, ESI, and professional tax compliances.
• Execute statutory, tax, and internal audit procedures under the supervision of the signing Chartered Accountant.
• Perform vouching, verification, ledger scrutiny, and compliance checks; prepare audit working papers and document findings.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain audit evidence, resolve discrepancies, and close pending audit requirements.
• Support accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit-related assignments for clients in the US and UAE, with guidance on jurisdiction-specific requirements.
• Assist in preparing responses to tax notices and departmental queries.
• Communicate clearly with clients and maintain trackers to ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Required Skills and QualificationsB.Com, M.Com, or a relevant accounting qualification; CA Inter candidates are welcome.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a CA firm, with practical exposure to accounting, compliance, and audits.
• Working knowledge of Indian statutory registrations, taxation, and return-filing procedures.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime or similar accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with GST, Income Tax, TRACES, and MCA portals.
• Good verbal communication in Hindi, English, and Telugu, with the ability to write professional emails in English.
• Strong attention to detail, client coordination skills, and ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Prior experience with international clients, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Xero will be an advantage.
